Trustee Jeff Faber

Jeff Faber grew up in Clinton Township, MI, where he graduated from Chippewa Valley High School. He pursued his passion for teaching by earning a BA in Elementary Education from Central Michigan University, followed by an MS in Physical Education & Health from Emporia State University.

For 25 years, Jeff dedicated his career to Lake Orion Community Schools, serving as a teacher and in various leadership roles. Since 2004, he and his family have proudly called Orion Township home. His wife, Karyn, shares his commitment to education, working as a developmental kindergarten teacher at Carpenter Elementary.

Jeff and Karyn are the proud parents of five children, four of whom are Lake Orion alumni: Aidan (2013), Olivia (2017), Amaya (2020), and Cameron (2023). Their youngest, Leighton, continues the family’s Dragon legacy as a student at Waldon Middle School.

Now enjoying (semi) retirement, Jeff is honored to give back to the community as a member of the Board of Education. His deep passion for public schools and unwavering dedication to students, staff, and families inspire his work to ensure Lake Orion’s tradition of excellence continues to thrive.
