Mission

The Lake Orion Education Foundation (LOEF) was revitalized in 2005. The Foundation is a non-profit organization created by friends and supporters of the Lake Orion Community School District to enhance and enrich the educational opportunities offered to children.

Funds donated to the Lake Orion Education Foundation will be used to enhance educational opportunities for all Lake Orion Community School District students at the discretion of the Board of Trustees. LOEF awards grants to teachers for classroom materials.

The Lake Orion Education Foundation Board of Trustees invites program and goal suggestions from members of the community and Lake Orion Community School District staff and students.
