Paint Creek Elementary is very excited about the newly installed sensory path. The 90+ foot sensory path follows a hiking theme where students encounter salamanders, hot lava, bear tracks, lily pads, etc on their excursion. Students may use the sensory path during the school day each day when needed.
The sensory path will be open to all students and most of the classrooms have had a chance to try it out. It has been so much fun to see students walking down the hallway, jumping on the pathway, and building even more pathways and connections through play. It has been a big hit already and all of the students seem to really love "taking a hike!"
