Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources

Adam holds a Bachelor’s Degree (BA) from Western Michigan University, a Master’s Degree (MA) in Policy and Practice in School Administration from the University of Michigan, an Education Specialist Degree (Ed. S.) in Leadership from Oakland University, and a certificate in Human Resources Management and Development from Michigan State University.

Adam taught for seven years at the secondary level in the Genesee School District, where he was also a district Athletic Director. He was a building-level administrator for Lake Orion Community Schools for 12 years beginning in 2011, serving in the roles of Assistant Principal at Scripps Middle School for three years and Principal at Carpenter Elementary School for nine years.

He is a member of multiple organizations including the Michigan Association of School Personnel Administrators (MASPA), American Association of School Personnel Administrators (AASPA), Michigan Negotiators Association (MNA), and Oakland Association of School Personnel Administrators (OASPA).

Adam and his wife, Meredith, have three children, all of whom currently attend Lake Orion Community Schools.
