Sara is an educational leader dedicated to fostering communities of connection where everyone feels they belong. With over 10 years of experience in the public school system, she has served as a school psychologist, program consultant for students needing intensive support, and special education director. Sara's work is grounded in the principles of socially just leadership, and she believes it is essential to coach special educators, mentor teachers, and walk alongside students' caregivers to build inclusive learning communities.

As a doctoral candidate for Educational Leadership at Central Michigan University, Sara is researching inclusively conscious early childhood leaders to understand how to support leaders and systems to be high-quality, inclusive environments from day one.

Outside her professional endeavors, Sara enjoys hiking, traveling with her husband and daughter, reading, and photography.
