Phase 1

A design team is working to create a renovated, secure entry and office area.

The structure of the office, including the rooms within it, will be modernized to fit the adjusted layout.

The construction is expected to begin in the spring of 2023 and conclude before school begins in the fall of 2023.

Phase 2 (2024-25)

There will be internal security doors to section the building, lighting upgrades, classroom and corridor flooring, including carpet replacement, replacement of the gym floors in the auxiliary gym and main gym. Portions of the roof will be repaired/replaced, there will be mechanical upgrades to the handlers and boilers, as well as the paving of the parking lot and sidewalk patching. The flagpole will be moved off the building onto the ground and the media scenter will be updated.

The track will be replaced.

Process

Phase 2

Construction on the media center, hallways and parking lot began in the summer 2024 and is expected to be completed before school starts in the fall of 2024.
