About LOHS

Lake Orion is an established and thriving community of 34,000 people in northern Oakland County. Lake Orion has access to several universities and colleges as well as business and recreational venues. The school district consists of six elementary schools, three middle schools and one high school and an alternative high school. Ths district also features an early childhood center and a special education center building. Lake Orion is a progressive school district offering options, such as year-round elementary school, multiage curriculum, elementary school with arts infused instruction, middle school teaming and a state-of-the-art high school that opened in the Fall of 1997.
