Dragon First Day (formerly Freshman First Day) is an opportunity for our incoming students, especially our incoming freshman, to experience a day of high school life without the full student population in the building. The students will experience a high energy welcome to the building including meeting their Homeroom teachers, a tour, and some fun at a pep assembly style gathering in the Field House to wrap up the morning.
Schedule
- 7:10 – 7:30 a.m. Arrival
- Welcome Presentation (Auditorium)
- Meetings with Homeroom Teachers
- Tours around LOHS with staff and Leadership Students
- Pep Assembly in Field House
- 10:30 a.m. Dismissal
Transportation
Students WILL BE transported to the High School at their regular morning bus pick up location and time (schedule should arrive via email one week beforehand). If you do not receive your student’s transportation schedule before Wednesday, August 31, please call the Transportation Department at 248-391-5455.
