Yearbooks can be purchased with cash, a check made payable to LOCS, or through our printer with a credit/debit card.
To purchase the yearbook directly through our printer, Varsity Yearbooks, go to www.yearbookordercenter.com and enter the job number 3059 or search for Lake Orion High School. After, registration the price goes up to $85.
Yearbooks will continue to be sold through our printer with a credit/debit card, or by cash or check made payable to LOCS, simply bring payment to the main office or room C-307. Make sure you pre-order a yearbook before the last sale in January 2026.
There will be four additional dates to purchase a yearbook. Yearbooks will be on sale on the following dates:
Friday, October 10, 2025. Yearbooks will be on sale during all four lunches on Friday, October 10, 2025, for $85.
After Friday, October 10, 2025, the price of a yearbook will go up to $90. Yearbooks will continue to be sold through our printer with a credit/debit card, or by cash or check made payable to LOCS, simply bring payment to the main office or room C-307.

Friday, January 9, 2026, during all lunches – this will be your last opportunity to pre-order and secure your 2025-2026 Dragon Yearbook for $95. If you have not purchased a yearbook by this date, you will have to wait until distribution and hope we have enough extra to sell.
Distribution day – date TBD – on this day, yearbooks will be sold for $95 on a first come, first served basis. We make any additional yearbooks we have available to seniors first, then juniors, then sophomores, and finally freshmen. We have sold out in the past. Our goal is to sell all yearbooks we order. We do not advise waiting until distribution, it is risky; you could end up without a yearbook. To guarantee your order, purchase your yearbook by Friday, January 9, 2026.
To order a yearbook you must have cash or a check made payable to LOCS. You can purchase your yearbook with a credit/debit card through our printer, Varsity Yearbooks. The link to Varsity Yearbooks is: www.yearbookordercenter.com job number: 3059. Our printer will reflect the price increases on the indicated days above.
Please be sure to include your student’s full name and grade with the cash or on the check, as well as on the printer’s site.

Senior Portrait Guidelines
Dear Parents/Guardians of LOHS Seniors,
This is a notice of the guidelines regarding senior portraits. This document is two pages - please read both pages:
Plan to have your portrait taken
- • Senior portraits days at LOHS will be held on August 12 - 14 from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. in the LOHS commons.
- These portraits do not need to be scheduled, they are taken on a walk-in basis.
- • If you cannot make it on any of those days, you can schedule a senior portrait session with MyPic at the studio in Canterbury Village. You can schedule your appointment at www.mypicphotography.com
- • If you do not have a portrait taken by MyPic, we will include your Student ID picture from Student Registration.
Submission
- • As the only option for a senior portrait this year is through MyPic, Scott Weiner will submit all of the senior portraits. He knows how to format the portraits for our purposes. Additionally, MyPic understands our specifications.
Format
- • Senior pictures must be in color and will be printed in color. We will not use pictures that are black and white, sepia toned, or that use any color treatment.
- • Note: Photos that do not meet the specifications, or that are not taken by MyPic Photography, will not be used in the yearbook. Instead, we will use the student’s Student ID photo.
Policy
- • Please note the portrait guidelines regarding the LOHS dress code.
- • Should you submit a photo that does not adhere to the current LOHS dress code, we will not include it in the yearbook, we will resort to the Student ID photo taken during Student Registration. If that photo does not meet the LOHS dress code, you will be “Not pictured.”
- • You can opt to have your photo omitted from the yearbook – this means it will not be included, if you turn in a signed Photo Omission form stating you do not want your photo to be included in the 2026 Dragon yearbook.
Cost
- • A senior portrait package can be costly, and we recognize this. This is why MyPic has agreed to take Yearbook Pose only portraits free of cost. If you do not have your portrait taken by MyPic, the Student ID photo taken during student registration is acceptable. The lighting, resolution, and background are professional. You are not required to purchase a package; the Student ID photo is free. If you wish to use this picture for the yearbook, please dress appropriately during registration.
If there are any questions or problems, please feel free to contact me via email at Stephanie.Orth@lok12.org or by calling 248-693-5420.
We look forward to receiving your pictures.

Our school is using Varsity Yearbook’s Online Ad Creation program for yearbook ads. All ads should be created and paid for online at www.yearbookordercenter.com before they are submitted to the school.
To get started, you’ll need to create an account on the website. Once you’re logged in, you can begin designing your ad. You’re welcome to start it and come back to finish later—but please note, it won’t be submitted to the school until it’s fully completed, approved, and paid for.
If you have any questions during the process, you can contact Varsity Yearbooks at 1-866-287-3096, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM Eastern Time.
If you are uncomfortable designing your own ad, you can email the photos and copy to Yearbook Adviser Stephanie Orth and the yearbook staff will design the ad for you. We will not design or place an ad until it has been paid for online.
*Remember the deadline is Friday, December 12, 2025. Ads submitted after this deadline cannot be guaranteed a place in the yearbook.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
