Welcome letter
Dear Pine Tree Center Families,
It is with great pleasure that I write this letter to you as the incoming Supervisor of Pine Tree Center. I have 13 years of experience in Special Education as a school Social Worker, and I have worked for Lake Orion Community Schools since 2018.
In Lake Orion, I had the opportunity to service Paint Creek Elementary, the Early Childhood Center, and Oakview Middle School. Prior to coming to Lake Orion, I worked at Kinglsey Montgomery School which is a center-based program in Waterford. At Kinglsey Montgomery, I was a school Social Worker in the program for students with Emotional Impairments in both the elementary and middle school programs. While working at Kingsley Montgomery, I had the opportunity to build a school-wide Positive Behavior Support program from the ground up. I was also able to redesign and implement the student problem solving process and led the building's crisis team.
The mission of Pine Tree Center is to be “provide an exemplary education for all learners.” I truly believe that every student deserves a quality education that meets their individual needs. I am committed to ensuring Pine Tree Center be the place to make that happen for your child.
