Calculator:
Advanced Math Students (High School Algebra 1 course): It is recommended that students purchase a TI-84 Plus graphing calculator. While they are expensive, often costing over $100, they will be used through the end of high school. Consider it a five-year investment. Those students choosing not to purchase a TI-84 Plus will need a graphing calculator app or program on their home computer to complete homework. The TI-84 Plus CE has a color screen and is preferred, but is more expensive.
General Math Students (Math 8): A Casio fx-300ES Plus scientific calculator is recommended.
