Back to School Information -- Aug. 16, 2019

Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with the important back to school information below. Feel free to contact the main office at (248) 693-5475 with any questions. Thank you, and we will see you soon!

  • The planting beds at the front of our building need some TLC. Some of our staff members have already begun the clean up process, but we are looking for reinforcements. If you are willing to help Thursday from 9:00-12:00 p.m., please reply to this message expressing interest. Students are welcome also.
  • The building will be shifting from Remind messaging to the SMS system that is embedded into School Messenger. Most parents are already enrolled. We will send an initial communication on Monday at noon. Anyone not receiving the text will need to log into their School Messenger account and enable SMS messaging.
  • On August 28, the building will be open from 2:00-3:00 p.m. for parents and students to stop by with school supplies and to say hello.
  • On the first day of school, which is September 3, students in grades one through five will meet their teacher out on the playground before entering the building.  Parents are invited as well, as this is a great time to get last minute photos and hugs in. At approximately 8:15 a.m., our teachers will move students into the building to begin what is going to be an excellent school year. Kindergarten families have already been notified of the first day arrival plan for their students.
  • Busing information will be emailed to families by the Transportation Department approximately one week before school begins.
  • If your student will require medication during the day, please complete the attached Authorization to Administer Medication.  This form is required before medication can be left at school.  Please note that prescription medication requires a physician's input.
