Good Afternoon All,
Just a reminder that when we return in-person on Tuesday, January 19, 2021, it is still Quarter 2/Semester 1. Students will continue to follow their current course schedule, including electives, through Friday, January 22. January 21 and 22 were originally slated to be half-days, but will now be full days (7:30am-12:15pm).
The Quarter 3/Semester 2 schedule will begin Monday, January 25, 2021. January 25 is also the return date for those currently enrolled in Dragon Virtual who will be returning in-person for 2nd semester. Please check PowerSchool for Q3/S2 student schedules.
Please follow the links for the daily schedule and the Green/White schedule. The student groupings are alphabetical by last name Green: A – K and White: L – Z.
Thank you,
Dr. Randy Groya, Principal

Dear LOCS Families-
Just two weeks ago, we shared the date, January 19, 2021, that we plan to return students to in-person learning.
As we approach winter break, we would like to share with you more details about those plans.
The plans were created with the goal of maintaining a safe, healthy environment and keeping students and staff in schools, with a consistent learning environment for the rest of the 2020-21 school year.
Based on the lessons learned from the November in-person period, where the significant amount of student and staff quarantines forced us back to remote learning, the LOCS Administration is working hard to limit the potential exposure within schools.
To accomplish this, we will follow a few basic tenets across all buildings:
The plans for each LOCS level/program, which include bus transportation available for all in-person students:
The goal of the LOCS Administration is to return all students to in-person learning, five days a week, when it is appropriate. We will continue to assess the health and safety issues that this pandemic has created while assessing our ability to provide continuous operations for in-person learning. We wish you and your family a safe and happy holiday season.
Thank you for your patience, collaboration and understanding,
Ben Kirby
LOCS Superintendent
