Principal's Message

Dear Waldon Families and Community,

It is an incredible honor to serve as the principal of Waldon. As a proud Lake Orion graduate, former Waldon student, parent of two middle schoolers, and longtime educator and administrator in Lake Orion Community Schools, joining the Waldon family feels like coming home.

Throughout my career, I have believed that strong schools are built on strong relationships. My commitment is to create a school where every student feels known, valued, challenged, and supported each day. Middle school is a time of tremendous growth, and I believe every student deserves caring adults who believe in them, encourage them, and help them discover their strengths.

Waldon has a long tradition of excellence, and I am excited to work alongside our outstanding staff, students, families, and community as we continue to build on that foundation. Together, we will foster a culture where students are engaged in meaningful learning, develop strong character, and feel a true sense of belonging.

I also believe that schools are strongest when families and educators work together as partners. Open communication, collaboration, and mutual trust are essential to student success, and I look forward to getting to know each of you throughout the school year.

As we begin this new chapter together, I am excited to listen, learn, and celebrate all that makes Waldon such a special place. Thank you for welcoming me into this amazing community. I cannot wait to meet each of you and begin an incredible year together.
